'CalmBranch' started with a humble vision: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to Bristol. The Johnson family established our little pizzeria in 1985, keeping it within the family with recipes that have been passed down generationally.
Emily Johnson, our founder, acquired pizza-making skills during her Italian escapades, particularly from experts in Naples, the pizza's hometown. After her UK return, her mission was to replicate the essence of genuine Italian pizza, focusing on classic techniques and the finest ingredients.
The journey from a quaint 12-seat joint to a cherished community gem reflects our dedication to excellence, though our essential practices remain unchanged. We honor the wood-fired oven tradition, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and are always in search of the best produce.
